Refund and Returns Policy

1. Return period
We offer a 30-day return period on standard products, counted from the date you receive your order. This exceeds the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal (angreretten) required under Norwegian law.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
2. Non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned:
UV-printed custom parts — Under Section 22(b) of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven), goods that are clearly personalised or made to the customer’s specifications are exempt from the right of withdrawal. This includes all UV-printed bricks and tiles produced to a custom design.
Items that cannot be returned also include:
Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
Items without proof of purchase
3. How to initiate a return
To start a return, contact us before sending anything back:

Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Returns sent without prior contact may not be processed.
4. Return shipping costs
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense, except where the item is defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly sent.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email whether your return has been approved or rejected.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider. Original shipping cost is only refunded if the return is due to our error (defective or wrong item).
6. Defective or incorrectly sent items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at post@nordicbrickworks.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping where applicable.
7. Right of withdrawal (Angreretten)
As a consumer purchasing from a Norwegian online store, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven). Our 30-day return policy exceeds this legal minimum.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing (email) within 30 days of receiving your order. You can use the standard withdrawal form available from the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) at forbrukertilsynet.no, or simply send us an email stating that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.
